		<description>My son (age 13) is about 1/3 of the way through the last book.  He loves them!  I showed him your blog and some of the previous comments.   Like Eric I too had my initial concerns due to bad press by the overly pietistic sort.  So I read the first book and was pleasantly surprised. They are not about promoting witchcraft and satanic rituals, but about the timeless values of loyalty, friendship and the like.  I see it as little different than J.R.R. Tolkien&#039;s trilogy in some respects.

BTW, thanks for not giving away the ending, especially to my son :)</description>
