I might have to check in on this blog more often.
I might also recommend something a big smaller for under the bed. Something in cal. of 30 is generally adequate, I have a fondness for the 30-06 or 308. And we have the always popular 12 guage. With handguns I’m fond of the 45 semi-auto, and then the 40 semi-auto. In revolvers I like the 357, but this round is a bit hot for some people. Some people like the 9mm and 38s, but I find them a bit small for self-defense.
